Accessibility
Accessibility statement
The standard this site is built to, what we have tested, what we know does not yet meet it, and how to ask for any content in another format.
My aim
London School of Planning and Management wants level7diploma.org to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on a screen reader, keyboard, magnification or high contrast. The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every page has one heading at level one, a logical heading order, a skip link to the main content and landmarks for header, navigation, main content and footer.
- Text and background colours meet the AA contrast ratio on both the dark and the light sections, including the gold accent, which is darkened where it appears on light backgrounds.
- All functionality is available from the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator. The programme rail on the home page scrolls with the arrow keys when it has focus, and every card in it is an ordinary link reached with the Tab key.
- Content does not depend on scripts: the programme lists, tables and forms are rendered by the server, and the comparison tool describes its arithmetic in text for anyone without scripting.
- Forms have visible labels, error messages that are announced and tied to their fields, and no time limits beyond a short anti-spam delay.
- Nothing moves, flashes or plays automatically, and animation is removed for users who have asked their system to reduce motion.
- Text can be resized to 200 per cent and the layout reflows to a single column on narrow screens without horizontal scrolling.
What does not yet meet the standard
- Photograph and testimonial slots are placeholders with descriptive text; when real images are added, each will need alt text written for it.
- Programme brochures are LSPM's PDFs, and we cannot confirm they are tagged for accessibility. Ask us for the content in another format if a PDF does not work for you.
- The awarding body specifications linked from programme pages are third-party PDFs whose accessibility we do not control.
Testing
The site was tested during September 2026 using keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom to 200 per cent, a screen reader on desktop and mobile, and automated checks for contrast and structure. It was checked at widths from 360 to 1440 pixels. We retest after any significant change.
