Level 7 diplomas in Law

International business law and general law for managers, compliance leads and non-lawyers who need legal fluency.

Our view

What this group covers, and what it does not

Three diplomas, none of which is a route to practising as a solicitor or barrister. Two cover international business law, one from each awarding body, and are written for managers, contract specialists, compliance officers and in-house professionals who deal with cross-border commercial arrangements. The third, the Qualifi Level 7 Diploma in Law, is broader in scope. All three assess through written work that applies legal reasoning to commercial situations, and holders may be able to use the credits towards an LLM by top-up, at a university's discretion.
