Level 7 diplomas in Public Administration

Governance, policy and public sector management for civil servants and officers in public bodies.

Our view

What this group covers, and what it does not

One diploma, the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Public Administration, for people who work in government departments, local authorities, agencies, health bodies or the third sector and want a postgraduate-level qualification in how public organisations are run. The units cover policy, governance, public finance and management in a public context. It is often taken by officers being prepared for senior roles, and by people moving into the public sector from private industry who need the institutional context.
